Lavender essential oil delays the drying of colours. If you notice that the colours on your palette are beginning to dry, add a few drops of lavender. Its pleasant smell is a plus for the comfort of use. This medium does not alter at all the final result.
The drying is very slow and allows you to use your colours longer and to rectify the paint up to 24 hours after application.
Lavender oil is popular for the technique of bounding but it can also be used to clean equipment such as an airbrush or delicate tools with which you do not want to use turpentine. If you are allergic to turpentine or can not stand the smell, you can use lavender oil as a substitute.
Once your colours are applied, it is possible to extend the pigments as you would for a watercolour by applying a drop of lavender oil or a diluent medium.
This medium can be used with Schjerning lead or lead-free colours.
Packaging in bottles of 25 ml or 125 ml.
As part of the technique of the buffering
For a very very slow drying and touching up possible even the next day
Lavender is a multipurpose and effective diluent
Replaces turpentine as a cleaner if necessary
