Are you new to Arasilk silk painting? The silk painting cards are pre-printed pieces that will allow you to practice and tame the art of silk painting. You will be able to gauge how the colour reacts on the silk and fuse.

The drawings on the pre-printed cards were made with our pale gold water H Dupont gutta. The gutta performs the work of an outline. Indeed, the colour will fuse only within the limits defined by the gutta. Be careful not to apply the colour too close to the edge so that no Arasilk comes out of the gutta lines. The silk used is Habotai 8.

Each kit contains 5 pre-printed silk cards of 10x15 cm, 5 cards and 5 envelopes. There are 5 variants: Lily pack, Poppy pack, Sunflower pack, Christmas pack, Animal pack. You will appreciate the delicate floral patterns. Practice creating gradients or other effects on larger spaces! For more possibilities, use H Dupont water-based auxiliaries such as anti-fusant, thickener, wax, etc.

How to use the silk painting cards?

Select the colours you will paint with.

From the beginning of the application, you will notice that the painting Arasilk fuse. You do not have to go to the edge because the painting will go by itself.

Once you have started, apply the colour fast enough to prevent some parts from drying as you are still filling them in.

When you are done, let it air dry. Once it is dry to the touch, you should fix it to the iron or oven. Iron the card on the backside without steam for 5 minutes (or on the front side using an intermediate cloth between the iron and paint) or pass the card in the oven at 130 ° C for 5 to 10 minutes.

When the silk is cool, stick the drawing on the front of the card.
