The basic tool to prepare and mix your colours is of course the knife! 3 different sizes allow you to choose the one that suits best your use and mixing medium!
Warning: Last items in stock!
In porcelain painting, it is essential to work the mixture "medium + pigment" with the greatest care. The paste obtained must be homogeneous so that the application is perfect.
Use one of the Schjerning pallet knives to work well, especially for the technique of buffering or if you have added fondant or matting powder. Spatulas with a round tip will be more suitable for use with faience pallets, while the bevel tip will be preferred for the American pallet.
The spatulas have no elbow and are therefore not used to paint directly on the surface.
Available sizes are:
77 mm flexible steel blade with rounded tip (total length: 150 mm) / Ref. SC6010002
80 mm flexible steel blade with rounded tip (total length: 193 mm) / Ref. SC6010014
80 mm flexible steel blade beveled (total length: 193 mm) / Ref. SC6010020
Clean these tools with turpentine and then with soapy water.
You simply will not be able to mix colours better than with the palette knives!
